Aurora was typically cliché, I know; but she’s my character. I’m the god here.

She was turning to goo in his hands but rationality still floated around somewhere.
“What about Lilah? What we’re doing is wrong.” She whispered after a moan; turning to face him.
“I told Lilah I was leaving to be with the woman I love. It stunned her but we both figured it out a long time ago that we weren’t meant to be. I don’t love her, Aurora. I love you. Even though I’ve tried to deny it for the longest, you’re the one I live for and when I heard you were leaving, I knew it was because of me.” Marcel paused, hoping to convey his honesty through his eyes. ”I know I’ve hurt you a lot and I’m sorry. That’s why I came here. To show you how much I love you and want to be with you. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity your dad gave me.” He paused again. This time longer. They stared each other in the eyes. “I want you Aurora. It’s always been you. I live to see you smile. It’s the most beautiful thing and I was so scared that I would never see that smile again so I had to do something. I’m here and I promise neither of us is leaving the other ever again.”

A tear found it’s way down her cheek. He hastily wiped it off with his thumb. He dived in for a kiss and for the first time in her life she felt true passion explode in her. She kissed him back with everything in her as he swooped his hand under her legs, lifted her and carried her into the room where he placed her on the bed.
And they spent that night letting go of all the emotions they had both kept all along.
