Locked In

Day 2 of OsasTheKing’s writing challenge.

Let me go, why don’t you?

I’m sick of it all.

I am tired; why aren’t you?

How much longer can you stall?

This is bliss, the idea of you.

I want to revel in it.

Let me. That’s all you need to do.

Step by step, bit by bit.

You’re my captor and prison.

Yet, my home.

With you, I’m locked in.

But I don’t really want to go.

The idea of out there, it’s scary

And I’m on my own.

To be in here, I’ll give every penny,

But I’m still alone.
